Math Module C is designed to strengthen the mathematical skills used in erosion and sediment control planning and design. These skills are essential for evaluating soil loss, estimating stormwater runoff, and determining material quantities and control requirements.
The module consists of five (5) instructional videos covering soil loss and sediment yield equations, runoff curve numbers and runoff calculations, seed and fertilizer quantities, installation and material calculations, and soil and channel erosion rates. Worked examples demonstrate how to apply formulas, interpret project data, and perform calculations using both imperial and metric units.
