Welcome to the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program™ (NGICP) On-Demand Training Course.
This prerecorded, self-paced course is designed to serve as both a learning and study resource, providing a foundational understanding of the construction, inspection, and maintenance of green infrastructure (GI) practices. Throughout the course, you will explore the principles, materials, techniques, and practices that support the successful implementation and long-term performance of GI.
The course is organized into fourteen (14) modules covering key topics related to green infrastructure. Each module builds upon concepts presented in previous modules and is designed to strengthen your understanding of the knowledge and skills used by GI professionals.
Most modules include a quiz to reinforce important concepts and allow you to check your understanding as you progress through the course. You must achieve a passing score on each required quiz before you can proceed to the next module. These quizzes are intended as learning and knowledge-check tools and provide an opportunity to identify topics that may require additional review. All quizzes are open book and open note, and you may use the NGICP Manual and other available course resources.
Please have a copy of the NGICP Manual, along with any notes or additional resources, available as you work through the course. The manual is an important companion to the training and should be referenced as you progress through the modules.
A digital copy of the NGICP Manual is provided at no additional cost upon approval of your NGICP application.
